Jen Junto has a wide range of abilities from her experiences as a mural painter, graphic designer, art educator, and children's book author and illustrator. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth Unversity and has taken graduate courses from the Institute of Electronic Arts at Alfred U. Ms. Junto has taught art in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. From 1990 to the present Ms. Junto has continued a career in graphic and fine arts. From 1997 to 2001 she was involved in developing the images of two new industrial companies as a marketing consultant and graphic designer. Her fine art has been shown in the Hampton Arts Center, Old Dominion University Gallery, Offbeat Gallery in Minneapolis, the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, the Courtyard Gallery, and the Vail Library. |
